I’ve long enjoyed hand stitching whether it’s hexagons, embroidery projects or adding accent stitches to a bag or pouch. So today I’m sharing a Needle Book Tutorial with you over on the Dritz sewing blog.
Needle Book Tutorial
This needle book is a great size, features pockets for scissors, a pen, floss or thread and thimbles. There’s a special place for needles and a snap holds everything securely inside.
Cute hexies adorn the front and the tutorial includes steps for making those with the Dritz templates. You can also check out my hexie how-t0 video.
I love the new snap setter Dritz has. It sets plastic snaps easily which I love adding to projects.
The needle book makes a great gift for any sewist and would be super cute in lots of different fabric combinations.
I used Cotton and Steel fabric and then Carolyn Friedlander’s stripes for the binding.

Next month I’ll be sharing two new tutorials with you. Stay tuned! Have a fabulous weekend!
