Summer is in full swing, and we just got back from the beach. We always go to the Isle of Palms just outside of Charleston. Good times with the family, lazy days, lots of beach time and bike riding. It was wonderful.
The marsh is so pretty. It’s one of my favorite parts about the beach at IOP.
Summer Projects- EPP!
With all of the summertime spent at the beach or the pool or traveling, you might be looking for the perfect portable project. Have you tried English Paper Piecing?
Hexagons, tumblers and diamonds make great paper piecing projects and the best part is that they’re easily portable. Check out my Intro to EPP video to get you started!
I have two fun tutorials to share with you that I created for Dritz. They have all the templates and tools you need to EPP like a pro!
This cute and functional project pouch keeps your supplies close at hand and with a magnetic snap they stay securely inside. Drop it in your bag on the way out the door and you’re ready to stitch on the go.
Need inspiration? How about making this colorful wall hanging? Choose your favorite colors, stitch together some EPP tumblers and embroider the center with a favorite saying and you’ve got a special piece of wall art you created!
You can find both tutorials on the Dritz Make Something blog by clicking on the links below.
Sending you lots of relaxing, fun, summertime vibes!
