I’ve been enjoying having more time to sew now that both kiddos are in school. I miss their sweet faces and hugs but it is all the more sweet when they get off the bus. 🙂
Do you Netflix and Sew?
It’s pretty quiet around here so I usually turn on music or a movie while I stitch away. What about you?
I love country music with some pop thrown in so I often turn on Spotify for my custom playlist. That new Adele song (Send My Love) and the Peter Pan song by Kelsea Ballerini are my total faves at the moment. They are getting all the love on repeat.
I’ve worked my way through several TV series on Netflix that I loved but would love some recommendations. Here are ones I’ve watched in the past and definitely recommend.
Hart of Dixie was my favorite. So so good. Light and fun, southern and quirky and funny. A small Alabama town with a healthy does of Roll Tide, a bunch of pretty people and a characters you have to love, even ones nnamed Lemon. It’s all so good.
I’ve also watched all the episodes of the Cedar Cove series. Totally makes me want to visit the Pacific Northwest and Canada -so beautiful! I wasn’t a big Andie McDowell fan before the Cedar Cove but I am now and wish that they had continued the series beyond three seasons.
Of course there are tried and true favorites like Friends, Gilmore Girls, Sixteen Candles and Serendipity. They always deliver.
I’d love to know what you recommend. Anything I HAVE to see?
BTW , if you haven’t seen ODD MOM OUT, cancel your plans for tonight and watch it on Bravo.com. So funny. So , so funny. Not kid friendly but great writing and laugh-out-loud funny.
OK, I’m off to sew and peruse Netflix for today’s entertainment.
Happy stitching y’all!
